Donald Trump's bombing rampage against Iran stands as perhaps the most catastrophically stupid act of his presidency—and that's saying something. This isn't strategy; it's the flailing of a weak-minded president who got played by Benjamin Netanyahu like a cheap fiddle and is now desperately trying to bomb his way out of his own incompetence. And instead of seeking proper congressional authorization for this act of war, Trump staged a pathetic puppet show with his three stooges—Rubio, Hegseth, and Vance—nodding along like trained seals as he launched an illegal military assault that violates both the Constitution and international law.
Trump's delusion that he can somehow make Iran "go away" through airstrikes reveals a kindergarten-level understanding of geopolitics. You cannot bomb knowledge out of people's heads. You cannot destroy the will of 90 million Iranians with explosives. What Trump has done is guarantee that every one of those 90 million people now has a blood debt to settle with America, and the 40,000 American troops scattered across the region just became sitting ducks for the retaliation that's coming.
